Just had ATT uverse installed and now i don't get sound thru my Sony receiver. I have to use the tv's speakers to get sound. I even ran rca cables between the uvers box and receiver and still no sound. When i play a dvd the sound comes thru my receiver as it is supposed to even without the rca cables. The att installer is stumped. Any suggestions? Thanks|||Is the Sony receiver a home theater in a box? (with built-in DVD player?)
Then, you need to switch the receiver to "AUX" when watching TV through the Uverse box.
If not, make sure you select the appropriate input.
If the att box has digital audio out , use it to get 5,1 surround sound - instead of just stereo through the rca cables.
