Getting att uverse,do they use existing coax cable thats already in the house?

To hook up tv, do they run fiber optic to house? how is it done.Is uverse reliable? Any info will help|||Short Answer: Stay with your current Inet and Cable provider, Uverse costs on average $175 or more, plus to get rid of the server and set it back to the way it was it costs $150.

Long Answer: Yes they use existing coax cables that they cut without regard to any lines in the house, beyond that they will ignore any room that does not have a TV, and just set the rooms the technicians want to set up.

Gripe: Bad customer service, bad equipment, bad cable. Stay with whatever it is you have or use another more popular group in your area, don't risk it.|||The might use your coax, or run Ethernet cable in your home.

They might run fiber to the home and Ethernet and phone inside, or fiber to the neighborhood, and DSL to the home.
