ok so i kind of dropped the remote into a cup of coffee.
anyone could of done that right.
well i used a blow dryer on it and it worked for a minute after than nothing
after a couple of days the volume and power work but i can't get anything else to work
lights up and everything
is it completely broken or does it need to be programmed
can i put it in rice to draw the moisture out of the remote
PLEASE HELP IT REALLY ISN'T MY REMOTE

thanks guys|||Yea your remote control is not going to work so you'll have to either buy a new one from store.att.net or call the help desk for u-verse and let them know that your remote is not responding to new batteries. That may sound wrong but they will mail you a new remote and you won't have to pay for it. Don't say anything about dropping it into coffee. Again just say that you were using it and it stopped working with some functions and you changed the batteries and it still only control the power and sound. The remote control can control the box completely with factory settings.
