Does anyone know what are the advantages of att's uverse high speed internet vs. their regular dsl service?

is att's uverse high speed internet more reliable than their regular dsl? what advantages does uverse have over comcast/earthlink cable high speed internet? can the internet experts please explain to me..............|||u-verse uses fiber optic as the back bone of its operation, then just like cable companies they use coax cables to your prem, the advantage is that you can upgrade to speeds of up 24mbps download depending on you available bandwidth. one thing to ask is before you change service is to make sure to ask how far away from the dslam you are( 3000ft is the max) the further you are the less speeds you will have available.
