Can You record different shows in different rooms with ATT Uverse?
We are about to switch from Directv to AT%26amp;T U-Verse and. We Currently have 2 DVRs. I have one in my bedroom and there is one in the family room. I am wondering if I will still be able to record shows from my bedroom with the AT%26amp;T U-verse?|||With AT%26amp;T U-verse you are only allowed one DVR per home, but you can schedule recordings to the DVR and view them from all the cable boxes in your home.
Can I use ATT Uverse box without some sort of activation?
If I buy an ATT Cable box from ebay, or some other source. Can I wire it into a splitter via coax cable and use it? Or is there some sort of activation on the box that forces me to contact ATT about it?|||Hate to agree with the other post, but you are better off not buying an AT%26amp;T U-Verse Set Top Box/Receiver/Cable Box from anyone other then AT%26amp;T themselves. It will be 55 dollars for a technician to come out and install it and be 7 dollars a month added onto your current bill. You may get a nice person that will waive the installation fee for the box but they probably won't be able to.
Just don't fall for anyone trying to sell you a box outside of AT%26amp;T because it is not a legitimate purchase and the help desk at AT%26amp;T won't be able to get it working for you.|||You cannot buy them, for they were not sold by the provider or manufacturer to end users.
Any box sombebody has is a non-returned rental/lease box which they have to right to sell you.
Should you buy a box, it will probably need to be activated and married to your account, which the provider will most liekly simply refuse to do.

How do i change my att uverse router settings for my slingbox?
How do I go to the port forwading settings of my router and set port 5001 to forward to my slignbox ip|||You can go to http://192.168.1.254 and click on the shield next to Firewall. then click on Applications, Pinholes and DMZ click on the IP address of the sling box and click Add a new user-defined application and configure the settings, after you are done it will take you back and you have to find the Application Profile Name that you just set and click the add button to the right.
ATT Uverse how does the installation work?
I'm very interested in getting this service. My only issue at this point is how is the product installed? I own an old brick home and do not want anyone to drill additional holes to accomodate any lines. Has anyone had this service done? Can an installer utilize existing lines/gaps where my current satellite feed is through? I called ATT customer service and they tell me I need to meet with an installer just to find out.|||Well they can either go through the cable lines in your home, or through the phone lines. Though they may have to install jacks or run cable if you don't have any. I have my Uverse through the phone lines and it is great!!
How much will att uverse max turbo cost after the first year?
I was just wanting to know since the site says its 44$ for the first 12 months but I can't find what the price is after those 12 months|||Why not give AT%26amp;T a call?
Can you switch names/accounts on an ATT Uverse bill without cutting the line?
My roomate recently got att internet and its under his name, now he's moving out but I'd like to keep it and put it under my name if its possible without cutting it. Is this possible?|||With his written permission, yes.
How to connect ATT Uverse to HDTV that only has a F Style Coax Connection?
I have an RCA SPS36123 which is an under the cabinet HDTV. It only has a coax cable connection, so if I set the tuner for AIR it looks for HDTV channels, but I need it to be on old style channel 3, so I tried cable, but it still didnt see channel 3. Any suggestions?|||Sorry to tell you this, but you don't have HDTV. Nowhere does the manual for your RCA unit says that it is HDTV. It is just a SDTV with a wide screen and has an integrated DVD. The unit does have an ATSC tuner though. However this is worthless to you because you are not getting the signal off the air using an antenna, i.e. you are using a Set-Top-Box (STB) from AT%26amp;T Uverse. You can get an ATSC RF modulator, but that would be more expensive than your RCA TV unit. The best that you can do is to use a Standard Definition RF modulator from the AT%26amp;T STB using the yellow RCA composite video out and Red+White audio and the RF modulator will convert it to analog RF signal on Channel 3 or Channel 4.
